He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Shorty" and Mildred Reed Simpson; and his brother Charles Simspon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCarthy; his children, Michelle Simpson (Karen) and Sean Simpson (Chrystal); his grandchildren, Tyler Montagna, Emily Simpson and Colton James Simpson; and his brother Richard Simpson.
