He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie Battles; and his parents, Nelson Battles and Laura Mae Battles. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Mensah (Seth) and Jeff Battles (Alicia); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Naryana, Naja, Anadi, Jeff, Wesley and Rory.
