He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maurer and Sophie Maurer (Sroka). He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Fahy of Fulton, NY; and his sister Shirleen Carpenter of Fulton, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
