He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Mirabito and Frances Mirabito (Zaia); and his siblings, Angelo, Catherine Boon, Anna and Mary Joan Holdorf.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Lysick; his close friend Charlene L. Mirabito of Fulton; his children, Ann (Frank Snyder) of Fort Worth, TX, James (Cindy) of Fulton, Susan of Denver, Daniel of Boston, MA, Stephen (Joyce) of Lafayette, CA and Sara (Riccardo Pieri) of Seattle, WA; his siblings, Barbara Thomas, Teresa Mirabito, Margaret Bocsor and Paul Mirabito (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Vicki, Todd, Michael, Whitney, Morgan, Elena, Christian, Neil, Bennett, John, Charlie, Madeline, Anthony, Claire and Olivia. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He died peacefully at St. Luke's from complications of COVID-19 after suffering with Alzheimer's disease for several years.
