She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Crewell and Loretta Crewell (Whiteman); her former husband Ronald J. Lavarnway; her husband Cyril E. Barton; and her siblings, Vaughn Crewell, Samuel Crewell, John Crewell, Doug Crewell, Teddy Moyer, June Moyer and Jean Moyer.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald J. Lavarnway of New Hartford, NY, Wendy Knopf (Ed) of Charlton, MA and Denise Shatrau (Chris) of Oswego, NY; her siblings, Jacob Crewell, James "Manny" Crewell, Jimmy Moyer and Joanie Moyer; and her grandchildren, Haley Shatrau, Daniel Shatrau, Abigail Shatrau, Melissa Knopf and Eddie Knopf. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
