She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Altman, Jr.; and her son-in-law Ed McDougall. She is survived by: her children, Ruth McDougall, Richard Simoneau (Dawn) and John Altman III (Rita). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dora's memory to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126.
