He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hewitt and Mildred Hewitt; his wife Rene Ellis Hewitt; his brother Burton Hewitt; and his daughter Kellee Kae.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vickee Davis (Terry) of London, Sheree Griswold (Curtis) of Fulton and Bethanne Hewitt of Georgia; and his sister Ruth Clavelli of Phoenix. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
