He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel; and his children, Donald R. Keeney and Margaret E. Mulford. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ellen Canino (David) and Rosemary Federici (Michael); and his son-in-law John Mulford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bowen's Corners United Methodist Church, 758 State Route 176, Fulton, New York 13069.
