He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis G. Simmons and Dawn Harrington Simmons; his wife Colleen M. Simmons; his son Anthony Smith; and his sister Jane E. Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Munger (Scott), Christina Simmons, Lewis Simmons (Ashleigh), Melinda Wise (Derrik) and Danielle Rice; and his siblings, Patricia Lewis (Don), Dan Simmons (Joann), Ruth Henderson (Lonie) and Wanda Rider Simmons. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews.
