He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bennett Sr. and Marjorie Burnard; his former wife Judy M. Bennett (Sherman); and his siblings, Dennis Richardson, Wendy Recore and Donna Timmins.

He is survived by: his fiancée Colleen Giles; his siblings, Trudy Pitcher (Ed Millward), Gail McGivney, Tina Bennett (Brian Howard) and Willard "Bo" Bennett (Scott Shinnick); his nephew Scott R. Bennett; and his great-nephew Nathan Riebel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
