He was predeceased by: his former wife Jean Halstead; his children, Donna, Randy, Alan, Frances and Howard; and his brothers, Paul, Arthur, Charles, David, Chester and Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Halstead; and his children, Frank Halstead (Norma), Mary Anne Merritt, Joyce Forsythe (Gregg), Linda Halstead, Catherine Forsythe (David), James Halstead (Karen) and David Halstead (Kristen Binder). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
