He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne P. Murdoch and Rosalie Elwell Murdoch; his wife JoAnne Elizabeth Flack Murdoch; his son Verne Murdoch; his siblings, Jeanne Austic and Richard Murdoch; and his close friend Nola Lago.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Murdoch of Cicero and Joseph Murdoch (Karen) of Oswego; and his granddaughter Alissa Murdoch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
