He is survived by: his stepchildren, Donald O'Brien Jr. of Fulton, NY and Colleen O'Brien of Fulton, NY; his siblings, Joseph Cafolla (Joanne) of Cicero, NY, Peter Cafolla of Fulton, NY and Rosalie Pierce of Rochester, NY; and his grandsons, Justin O'Brien and Andrew Cieszeski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
