She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gifford and Nora Gifford (Pilling); her husband Joseph A. Dashnau, Sr.; her son Joseph Jr.; and her sisters, Audrey Smelski and Donna Holliday.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Dashnau (Bonnie) and Douglas Dashnau (William). She is also survived by many grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
