She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Rogers and Gerushia Rogers (Saylers); her husband Eddie Hanshew; her grandchildren, Raymon D. Stacey Jr. and Chelsea Andrews; and her siblings, Josephine Richardson, Frances Bronson, John Rogers and Eva Winkle.

She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne; and her sister Carlene Taylor. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
