She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Mead and Ruth Mead; her husband Jesse E. Bedow; her siblings, Donald Leonard, Marilyn Lockwood and Betty Prentice; and her grandson Timothy Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Larry L. Bedow (Sue Parks) of Friendship, Steven E. Bedow (Rena) of Friendship, Debra R. Greene of Richburg, Cindy R. Davison (Ted Witcher) of Friendship and Karen S. Illerbrun (Frank) of Friendship; and her sisters, Virginia Carpenter of Alabama, Ann Tillotson of North Carolina and Alice Banks of Virginia. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
