It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Milone of Fresh Meadows, New York, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lois farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lois is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Polinsky and Mary Polinsky (Feig); her husband Jim; and her brother David. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Annmarie Polinsky (Cleary); her nieces, Kara Orourke (Jimmy) and Veronica Webster (Nik); and her nephew Dustin Polinsky (Andrea).
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sinai Chapels (114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375). A committal service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery (172-00 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11365).
