He was predeceased by: his mothers, Lida J. Mudge Porter and Patricia Keller Porter; and his sister Marie Howden. He is survived by: his daughter Faith; his son-in-law Andy Smith of Dryden, NY; his daughter Gail Porter of Bassett, VA; his grandchildren, Ian Petrie, Joshua Petrie, Caleb Smith, AbiGail Smith and Alicia Henderson (Matt); his brother Earl Porter (Pearl); and his close friend Connie Eaton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
