He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Higgins and Frances Beattie Higgins; and his brothers, Gerald, Harold and Donald McCall.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Edwards Peak Higgins; his children, Thomas Peak, David Peak (Kim Bergen), Lori Peak of Freeville, Shelly MacBain (Gerry Martin) and Kelly Garrett (Jeff); and his sister Patricia Casterline. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virgil Fire Dept.
