She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Thomson and Isabelle Farqhuar Thomson; her former husband Gordon Gilbert; her husband Victor Loomis; her daughter Kathleen Loomis; her brothers, Roy and James Thomson; and her stepdaughter Barbara Stith.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Velten (Eugene) and Gordon Gilbert; her stepson Victor Loomis (Kelly); her grandchildren, Adiah, Erin and Emily; her son-in-law Michael Loomis (Kim); her stepgrandchildren, Stacy, Becky, Chad and Matt; and her cousins, Dierdre, Betty Joan, Jimmy, Jessie, Dick, Norman (Pat), Jeanette (Craigie) and Fran. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
