He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Dans and Gertrude Mack Dans; and his wife Gerry. He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Dans (Denise), Dryden and Jeffrey Dans (Sherry) of Cortland; his grandchildren, Tony Dans (Emily) of Candor and Heather Dans of Groton; and his sister Carolyn Harrington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
