He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marquis and Ethel Marquis; and his siblings, Ken, Kathleen, Kermit and Cliff.

He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth (Bill); his granddaughters, Molly Webster (Dan Curbelo Zeidman) and Emma Webster (Erin Jenkins-Vigil); his sons, Stephen Edgar and Michael Edgar (Stephanie); and his grandson Aaron Edgar.
