Andrew Seyfried Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Seyfried of Freeville, New York, who passed away on December 14, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andreas Seyfried and Vera Seyfried (Stone); his sister Patricia Seyfried Chamberlain; and his brothers-in-law, Horace Shackelton and Larry Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Van Vranken of Freeville, NY; his children, Matthew Seyfried (Lisa) of Cortland, NY and Shana Karn (Dan); his grandchildren, Miranda Van Donsel (Michael), Melanie Karn, Andrew, Kaylee and Leah Seyfried; his great grandchild Cooper Van Donsel; his siblings, Shirley Shackelton of Dryden, NY, Vera Graves (James), Carol Taylor and Fred Seyfried (Helen); and his brother-in-law Edward Chamberlain of Brownville, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated by The First Presbyterian Church of Dryden and the Dryden Kitchen Cupboard.
