He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kames and Jean Sobsey Kames; his brother Robbie Kames; and his brothers-in-law, Philip Pesez and Robert Merrill.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Pesez Kames; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Cook Pesez and Suzanne Pesez Merrill. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
