He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Alexander Macpherson and Mary Agnes Jeffs Macpherson; his former wife Diane M. Macpherson of Clifton Park, NY; his siblings, James F. "Gabby" Macpherson (Annie) and Mary K. Macpherson (Kathy) of Watervliet, NY.; and his parents-in-law, Muriel F. and Joseph A. Staunch.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Macpherson of Freehold; his children, Duncan F. Macpherson (Terese) of Clifton Park, Kara Marie Macpherson of Albany, Christine Mary Macpherson (John Gieschen) of Chesterfield, NH, Kate Arel (Seth) of Freehold, Scott Macpherson (Nora) of Freehold and Mary Alyssa Macpherson (Clay) of Delmar; his sisters, Yardsley A. Macpherson of Latham, Elizabeth R. Rowe (John) of Oceanside, NY and Christine F. Meharg (John) of San Francisco, CA.; and his siblings-in-law, Sally A. Staunch, Bonnie L. Staunch and Joseph Staunch (Michelle) of Freehold. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
