He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland I. Nichols and Margaret J. MacAuley Nichols; and his brother John Nichols. He is survived by: his siblings, Leland Nichols (Stephine) of Farmersville, Donald Nichols of Farmersville, Douglas Nichols (Betty) of Farmersville, Norman Nichols (Diane) of Farmersville, Roger Nichols (Barb) of Centerville, Gordon Nichols of Angelica and Linda Barrow of Houghton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
