We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2020, at the age of 96, Wesley Sly Sr. (Fredonia, New York), born in East Aurora, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sly and Rachel Sly; his wife Shirley Ricketson Sly; and his close friend Sandra Woodard of Jamestown, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Wes Sly, Jr. (Dianne) of Lake Elmo, MN, Betsy Sly of Fredonia, Susan Sly Kourelis (Colin) of Dunkirk and Michael Sly (Sue) of Plano, TX.; his sister Ruth West of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandchildren, Katy, Taylor Sly (Children), Chris (Lisa) and Matt Sly (Children). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, Lakewood, NY, or to the Presbyterian Church in Fredonia, NY.
