He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gustave Glenzer and Amelia Maude "Peg" Glenzer (Riley); his wife Joan Lupean Glenzer; his brother Richard Glenzer (Dar); and his son Todd Edward Glenzer.

He is survived by: his children, Jana Goodrich (Michael) of Erie, PA and Jeff Glenzer (Lisa) of Germantown, MD.; his grandchildren, Christine Goodrich Blashock (Adam) of Erie, PA, Patrick Goodrich (Megan) of Erie, PA, Elizabeth Glenzer of Arlington, VA and Paige Glenzer of Germantown, MD.; his great grandchildren, Nora Grace Goodrich of Erie, PA., Anna Rose Goodrich of Erie, PA. and Natalie Marie Goodrich of Erie, PA.; and his sister Kathy Holser (David) of Fredonia.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Dr. John A. & Joan L. Glenzer Endowment for the Performing Arts, c/o Fredonia College Foundation, 272 Central Ave, Fredonia, NY 14063.
