He was predeceased by: his parents, J. William Murphy, Sr. and Madelyn Murphy (O'Brien); and his brothers, J. William Murphy, Jr. and James J. Murphy (Turk). He is survived by: his wife Ann (Lynch); and his sons, Tim (Rachel Foley) of Fredonia and Joseph B. (J. B.) of Dunkirk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
