He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. Lockwood; his children, Carole L. Ratzel (Earl) of Franklinville, Gail J. Ford (Stephen) of Lebanon, PA., Richard C. Ratzel (Abby) of Franklinville, Douglas S. Ratzel of Franklinville and Daniel J. Ratzel of Hinsdale; his grandchildren, Amy, Theresa, Becky, Mark, Samantha, Brian and Carl; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda and Willie; and his sister Joan Carls of Olean. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
