Kenneth H. DeLong Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth H. DeLong of Franklinville, New York, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Kenneth may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenneth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert DeLong and Olive Nichols DeLong; and his daughter Jennifer. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Teresa DeLong (Christopher Shields) of Honolulu, HI and Kevin DeLong of Baltimore, MD; his grandson Parker Shields; and his brothers, Gary of Olean and Harley (Donna) of Hinsdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home (7 N Main St, Franklinville, NY 14737). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ducks Unlimited, Inc., a wetlands conservation nonprofit that Ken was involved with for several years.
