He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa O'Brien (Eric) of Ceres, NY and Julie Hotopp (Kerry) of Columbia, MD; his grandchildren, Samantha O'Brien, Cedric Hotopp and Oliver Hotopp; and his sisters, Lettie Nelson and Diedre Litzenberger (Bill). He is also survived by 3 nieces and a nephew.
