With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E. Schichtel in Franklinville, New York, born in Springville, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward On and Elizabeth Schichtel On; and his brothers, Paul Schichtel, Phil Schichtel, Greg Schichtel, Dick Stephan and Dan Stephan.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Matthews; his son Robert Schichtel (Maricel) of Glen Cove, NY; his grandson Conner Schichtel; and his siblings, Donna McVaugh, Anne Theil, Gerry (Mary Schichtel), Jim Schichtel (Belinda), Randy Stephan of Springville and Terry Stephan (Betty).
