It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice E. VanDewerker of Franklinville, New York, born in Roulette, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank G. Niver and Laura L. Niver (Ives); her husband Kenneth E. VanDewerker; her children, Todd VanDewerker and Bea Morgan; and her siblings, Lillian Ostrander (Fay), Laura Harrington (Henry), Dorothy Saulter (Carlton), Cleon Niver (Genevieve), Lyall Niver (Donna) and John Niver.
She is survived by: her children, Carlene Sickmon (Al) of Tully, NY, Laura Davies (Jack) of Machias, Doris Fiske (late Robert) of Franklinville, Bill Walden (Millie) of Machias, John Walden of Savona, NY, Jane Kirchmeyer (Michael) of Freedom and Janet O'Neil (Karl Ferguson) of Machias; and her son-in-law Richard Morgan of Freedom. She is also survived by 50 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
