He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cataldo and Angeline Bourgeois Cataldo; his wife Helen; his siblings, Francis Cataldo, Marie C. Meda, Eileen Cataldo, J. Charles "Charlie" Cataldo, George Cataldo and F. Edward Cataldo; and his friends, Merwin McDonald (Mer) and Paul Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, James Cataldo (Beverly), Kathryn Cataldo Lane-Cataldo (Kimberly) of Ganesvoort, NY and Kelly Nagy (Douglas); his grandchildren, Kyle Cataldo (Abby), Michael Cataldo, Ariane Bush (Matthew), Alena Nagy and Keaton Nagy; his great grandchild Clarke Cataldo; his sisters-in-law, Theresa Cataldo and Mary Lou Cataldo; and his caregivers, Sheri, Katie, Delynn and Bob.
