He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taggart and Anna Taggart (Van der Zee); and his siblings, James Taggart, Scott Taggart and Kathy Taggart Zahar.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Taggart; his daughter Stacey Jordan (Jeffrey) of Otego; his grandchildren, Tyler (Rachel Early), Johnathon (Erin Brooks), Katelyn and Derek Jordan; and his brothers, John "Jack" Taggart (Joanne), Jeff Taggart (Lori) and Peter Taggart.
Donations in honor of Joe can be made to the Franklin Fire Department and Emergency Squad.
