He was predeceased by: his sister Alice; his parents, Thomas McNally and Alberta McNally; and his father-in-law Edward Hoyt. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his daughters, Caitlin and Devon; his grandchildren, Jackson and Ryan; and his son-in-law Mike.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Franklin Funeral Home, Inc. (42 New Hyde Park Rd, Franklin Square, NY 11010). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church (990 Holzheimer St, Franklin Square, NY 11010).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Thomas' memory.
