She is survived by: her children, Donald (Anna Moruzzi) of Carle Place and Susan (Michael Bernardi) of Poughquag; her grandchildren, Vincent, Sara, Giana and Dominic; and her sister Janet Mantel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in memory of Ruth to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
