She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gaetano Cannata (Thomas) and Caterina Sampogne Cannata (Catherine); her brothers, Steve (Gloria) and Bobby (Marie); her husband Alexander Marra; and her children, Kenneth (Louise), Michael (Robbin), Barbara (Robert), Christine and Alexander (Esperanza). She was also cherished by her 5 children, Phyllis had 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Franklin Funeral Home, Inc. (42 New Hyde Park Rd, Franklin Square, NY 11010). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church (990 Holzheimer St, Franklin Square, NY 11010).
In lieu of flowers, you may choose to make a donation in Phyllis' memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
