He was predeceased by: his parents, James Salamone and Josephine Cardinale Salamone; and his siblings, Sam Salamone, John Salamone and Rosemarie Salamone.
He is survived by: his son James; his daughter-in-law Mary Salamone of Liverpool, NY; his daughter Josephine (Jo Lynn); his son-in-law Massimo Sorbara of Freehold, NJ; his grandchildren, Stephen (Jennifer Salamone), Christina (Joseph Zummo), Kayla (Russell Batistoni), Stephanie Sorbara (Brendan Smith), Mark Sorbara, Stacy Sorbara, Sarah Salamone, Emily Salamone and James Salamone Jr.; his great grandchildren, James and Sawyer Salamone; and his sisters-in-law, Dolores Franco and Yvonne Franco. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
