He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton W. Merry and Emily Volk Merry; and his siblings, Melville of Frankfort and Blanche Anderson of Kerhonkson, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his daughter Wanda Gorton (Rick); his granddaughters, Heather Gorton (Stan) and Heidi Gorton; his son Duane (Amy Bowerman); his grandchildren, Duane Jr. and Mackenzie Bowerman; his sisters, Edith Eastman of Deansboro, Jane Chavez of Uvalde, TX and Ruth Pritchard of Utica; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Merry of Utica, Leslie and Janet Erskine of Oswego. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
