He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale "Pat" Cardillo and Florence M. Cardillo (Lalonde); and his cousin Victor Cardillo. He is survived by: his wife Melody L. Volk; his son Richard A. Cardillo (Breanna Nelson) of San Diego, CA; his brother Michael P.; his sister-in-law Kathleen A. Cardillo of Utica; his nieces, Theresa (Edward West) and Michelle (Christopher Maier); his great-nieces, Annabelle West, Madeline and Michaela Maier; his great-nephew Joseph West; and his aunts, Mary Utter of Utica and Carmelina Mear of Rome. He is also survived by many cousins, in-laws, and many special friends.
