He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Antonino and Stefana Rizzo (Peri); his wife Maria Terranova; his son-in-law Natale DiStefano; his parents-in-law, Giuseppe and Vincenza Terranova; his siblings, Stefano "Steve" Rizzo (Rose), Paolo Rizzo, Carlo Rizzo, Margherita Traina (Giuseppe) and Giuseppe Rizzo (Soccorsa); and his siblings-in-law, Giuseppe Vinci and Gesualda Mazzola.
He is survived by: his children, Stefana DiStefano of Frankfort, Vivian Stillitano (Biaggio) of Frankfort, Joseph Rizzo (Lisa) of Oxford, MA and Carl Rizzo (Lisa) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Antonio DiStefano (Kelley Whisman), Giuseppina DiStefano (Daniel Lighthall) of Utica, Tanya Snyder (Scott) of Barneveld, Alyssa Rizzo, Margaret Rizzo, Anthony Rizzo of Oxford, MA and Carlo "Tom" Rizzo of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Gabby DiStefano, Alex DiStefano and Maverick Snyder of Barneveld; his sister Maria Vinci of Sicily; and his siblings-in-law, Giuseppina (Pietro Peri) of Italy, Gandolfo Terranova of France, Mario Terranova (Rocchina) of Sicily and Giuseppe Mazzola of Sicily. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
