He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Mykel and Claribell E. Earing Mykel; his daughter Charlotte Warren; his grandchildren, Stephen Boyer and Tammy Murphy; and his sons-in-law, Dion Battisti and John Murphy, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Stevens; and his children, Carolyn DeGroat of Albany, NY, Terri (Wayne Douglas), Carrie Battisti of Albany, NY, Teena Murphy of Fort Plain, NY, Charles (Roxanne Mykel), John Mykel, Peg Tyler of Fort Plain, NY and Jack Mykel of Fort Plain, NY. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
