He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Susan Lawney (Milton) of Colonie, NY, Jane S. Oswald of Latham and Gloria Edelen of Monterey, CA.; his sister Joan Mattson (Booth) of Saratoga, NY; his grandchildren, Heather Shafer (Colin), Matthew Lawney (Gina), Elizabeth Olsen (Eric), Victoria Culas (Vijay), Alexandra Chou (Jason), Rhett Edelen (Alicia) and Michael Edelen; and his great grandchildren, Lindsey, John Shafer, Samantha, Bella Lawney, Jay, Nick Olsen, Ozzie, Henry Culas, Nate and Charlotte Chou.
