He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Dickens and Bonnie Hawk Dickens. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Ann Kruger; his stepchildren, David Kruger (Lisa) and Loni Heinze (David); his grandchildren, Ashley Kelly (Josh) and Courtney Heinze; and his friends, Eddie Liber, Kevin, Marcia Richards, Scrappy and Marley. He is also survived by three children.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marion's memory to Regional Animal Shelter, 117 W. Fulton St., Gloversville, NY 12078.
