It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian M. Kanches of Fort Johnson, New York, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stoddard Reichel and Minnie Reichel of Amsterdam, NY.; her husband Peter Kanches; her daughter Kathleen Olmsted; and her sisters, Fannie Young and Mary Jane Henderson.
She is survived by: her children, Paul K. Kanches, Peter K. Kanches (Dorothy), David K. Kanches (Sue Hill) and Laura LaPorte (Michael); her son-in-law Terry Olmsted; and her pet Bubba. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
