He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Colabello and Violet DeMaria Colabello; and his sister Joan Gradert (Butch). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kalinsky Colabello; his children, Joseph E. Colabello Jr. (Elizabeth) of Illinois, Tiffanie McDonald (Tim Jr.) of Broadalbin, NY and Adrian Leigh Colabello (Jacqueline Ross) of Saratoga, NY.; his siblings, Frank Colabello (Irene) of Tribes Hill, NY, Judy Baker Barkevich (Gary) of Amsterdam, Rena Mesick of Fultonville and Kelly Mammarelli of Florida; his grandchildren, Emily VanWormer (Wayne Armour) and Thomas McDonald; and his great grandchild Olivia Armour. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the Covid-19 Outbreak, funeral services are private.
