He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes H. Carter (Miller) and Edwin D. Carter; his wife Linda Carter (Ryan); and his brother James M. Carter. He is survived by: his daughters, Michele L. Carter and Tracey L. Pabis (Mark R.); his siblings, Barbara White (Larry) of Ballston Lake, NY and Thomas Carter (Rosemary) of Fonda, NY.; his grandchildren, David R. Pabis (Allison) of Fort Johnson, Stephen R. Pabis (Samantha) of Fort Johnson, Jenelle L. Pabis (Alex) and Fort Johnson; his great grandchildren, Paisley-Grace Pabis, Colton Pabis, Lindiann Pabis and Ryann Pabis; and his friends, Frank, Theresa Jablonski, Jack Putman and Eric Zwack (David).
