With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wally Petty of Fort Edward, New York, born in Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wally Petty to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Petty and Helen Petty (Hatch); his wife Doris Petty (Nelson); and his siblings, Lester, Earl, Phil, Neil and Janice Robertson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dorothy Beecher (Ed) of Glens Falls and Margaret Doyle (Richard) of Hudson Falls; his grandchildren, Todd Beecher (Jenn), Eric Beecher (Lauren Ashley), Angela Hogan (Joe) and Matthew Doyle (Bridget); his great grandchildren, Dalton (Alexandra), Jack and Alexandra Hogan; and his siblings, Tom Petty (Laura), Wayne Petty, Carol Yanke-Nason and Nancy Cary. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
